SURGIDOR-T® (Timolol maleate- Dorzolamide hydrochloride ophthalmic solution) is the combination of a topical carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and a topical beta-adrenergic receptor blocking agent. SURGIDOR-T is supplied as a sterile, isotonic, buffered, slightly viscous, aqueous solution. The PH of the solution is approximately 6.8. Each ml of SURGIDOR-T contains 20mg Dorzolamide & 5mg Timolol.
SURGIDOR-T® is indicated for the following for reduction of intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to beta-blockers. IOP determined after multiple measurements over time. Chronic open angle glaucoma, pseudo exfoliative glaucoma. Secondary open angle glaucoma when concomitant therapy is appropriate.
The dose is one drop of SURGIDOR-T in the affected eye(s) two times daily, if more one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered with an interval of at least ten minutes.
SURGIDOR-T® (combination of dorzolamide 2% & timolol 0.5% ophthalmic solution) is supplied sterile in opaque white LDPE plastic bottle with dropper with dark blue high impact polystyrene (HIPS) cap in 5ml pack.
